During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo officially announced Star Fox, an action-packed reimagining inspired by Star Fox 64 for Nintendo 64, launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25.
🎮 Players can experience exciting new gameplay modes alongside returning fan favorites while embarking on a dangerous mission to save the Lylat System. Thanks to a complete visual overhaul, the galaxy can now be explored in stunning new detail.
⚠️ The evil scientist Andross seeks to dominate the Lylat System, and only Fox McCloud and the Star Fox team can stop him. Pilot the legendary Arwing through intense aerial combat, perform daring maneuvers like barrel rolls and somersaults, and uncover alternate mission paths across multiple playthroughs. Players can also squad up in the all-new 4-vs-4 multiplayer Battle Mode*.
🌌 Star Fox delivers a cinematic reimagining of the classic adventure with redesigned characters, upgraded environments, fully voiced dialogue, dramatic cutscenes, and an orchestral soundtrack. 🌠 Campaign Mode
Travel across diverse planets and battlefields while choosing between Easy and Normal difficulties. 🏅 Unlock Expert Mode by earning medals through skillful play. 🏆 Challenge Mode
Replay completed stages with additional objectives and special challenges unavailable in the main campaign. Challenges can be tackled on either Normal or Expert difficulty.
⚔️ Battle Mode
Gather your squad for intense 4-vs-4 multiplayer battles featuring Team Star Fox versus Team Star Wolf, with up to eight players total. 🌌 Objectives vary by map, including capturing zones on Corneria, collecting energy crystals on Fichina, and recovering stolen cargo in Sector Y. Players can battle online in private matches or connect with others around the world. Through GameShare***, up to four players can join locally or online via GameChat.

Appear as Fox McCloud or other Star Fox crew members during GameChat conversations using expressive animated avatars. 🎭 AR filters also let players add themed accessories like fox ears or Falco-style beaks that react while speaking.
